INFORMATION
The hardest graphite pencils, from 6H to H, are suitable for initial lines, construction guides, and details that require a light deposit on the paper.
HB and B grades are suitable for general sketching. Pencils from 2B to 14B can then be used to gradually reinforce volumes, shadows, and contrasts.
Charcoal pencils facilitate precise lines and small areas. Sticks allow for faster coverage of a surface, working on the edge, and building larger dark masses.

USE & CARE
Start with a hard or medium pencil to place proportions without heavily marking the paper. Then move to softer grades to develop volumes, shadows, and contrasts.
Use blending stumps to blend graphite or charcoal in precise areas. Clean their tip on the sandpaper block when it becomes too loaded.
The kneaded eraser allows you to gradually remove material, lighten a value, or bring back a highlight without heavily rubbing the paper.
The craft knife allows you to expose a greater length of lead or prepare a point suitable for drawing. Always handle the blade on a stable surface and away from your fingers.
Replace pencils, sticks, and accessories in the elastic loops after use to limit shocks, breakages, and dust accumulation in the case.

First, build the drawing with an H or HB pencil. Develop values with grades 2B to 6B, then reserve the softest pencils and charcoal for the deepest shadows. This progression prevents the paper from becoming saturated too early.
