Solid wood rectangular tea tray – Gong Fu Cha preparation and tea service
This solid wood rectangular tea tray is designed for Gong Fu Cha preparations, tea service, and organizing practice items on a dedicated surface.
Its compact size allows for a gaiwan, a few cups, a pitcher, or tea accessories to be arranged without cluttering the space. The slightly hollowed surface helps retain small amounts of water during handling.
Wood provides a more stable and warmer presence than a plastic or metal support, while remaining discreet on a desk, coffee table, reading nook, or minimalist preparation area.
INFORMATION
This tray allows for defining a simple tea preparation space: a few accessories, a teapot or gaiwan, two cups, and a clear surface for pouring, rinsing, or serving.
Unlike a large draining tray, this model remains more compact and visually light. It is suitable for simple preparations, small spaces, and tea moments that do not require a complete setup.
The wood may show slight variations in shade, grain, and finish depending on manufacturing batches. These differences are part of the natural rendering of the material.
CHARACTERISTICS
Material: Solid wood
Format: Rectangular
Dimensions: 25 × 12 × 1.8 cm
Usage: Gong Fu Cha, tea service, support for practice items, reading nook, desk, coffee table
USE & CARE
Place the tray on a flat, stable surface. Place only essential items: gaiwan, cup, pitcher, utensil, or small accessory, to maintain a clear space during preparation.
Quickly wipe up small amounts of water after use. The tray can hold a few drops, but it is not designed as a large drainage system with a reservoir.
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry. Avoid prolonged soaking, abrasive sponges, and direct exposure to a strong heat source to preserve the wood.
COMPOSE YOUR TEA SPACE
For a simple Gong Fu Cha preparation, this tray can be combined with the

🤍 Ikane workshop tip
Combine this tray with a simple preparation: a teapot or gaiwan, two cups, and only a few objects. A visually lightened space helps maintain more stable attention during the action.
