Hand-rolled natural sandalwood incense – 28 sticks for reading, writing, and quiet workshops

This natural sandalwood incense accompanies times of preparation, reading, writing, drawing, or creating, with a woody, dry, and gradual smoke.

Made from advertised sandalwood and natural herbs, it comes in 15 cm hand-rolled sticks. The scent remains discreet, intended as a background presence rather than an overpowering diffusion.

Each stick may show slight variations in shape and burn due to artisanal rolling. The slow burn allows you to mark the beginning of a session without saturating the space.

INFORMATION

This incense is used as a time marker: light a stick, set up the space, then begin your practice. It is suitable for moments when you seek a calmer atmosphere, without overly sweet scents or excessive diffusion.

Its sandalwood scent develops an advertised woody, dry, and natural note. It can accompany ink preparation, calligraphy, journaling, reading, or repetitive workshop tasks.

The intensity depends on ventilation, room volume, the holder used, and the number of sticks lit. Starting with a single stick helps maintain controlled diffusion.

CHARACTERISTICS

Composition: advertised sandalwood and natural herbs
Quantity: approximately 28 sticks
Length: approximately 15 cm
Diameter: approximately 3 mm
Manufacturing: artisanal hand-rolling
Scent: woody, dry, advertised natural, without advertised artificial aromas
Required holder: stable, heat-resistant incense holder, compatible with the stick's diameter

USE & PRECAUTIONS

Place the stick in a stable incense holder, on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the stick's diameter is compatible with the holder's opening.

Light the tip, let the flame catch for a few seconds, then gently blow it out to leave only the ember.

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from papers, fabrics, curtains, dry plants, drafts, children, and pets.

Aerate the room after use, especially in an enclosed space or if the incense has burned for a long time.

STORAGE

Store the sticks in a dry place, away from moisture, direct light, and strong odors.

Avoid storing them near perfumes, essential oils, scented candles, or household products, to preserve their woody scent.

Handle the sticks with care. Their slender, hand-rolled format can make them more susceptible to twisting or impacts.

PAIR WITH

To collect ashes on a simple surface, this incense can be paired with the stainless steel incense holder plate, provided the stick's diameter is compatible with the holder's opening.

For a more mineral presentation, you can check compatibility with the black cement mineral incense holder.

To create a preparation space with incense, tea, notebook, or writing, it can be placed near the compact bamboo tea tray or the wooden preparation tray.

🤍 Ikane workshop tip
Light a single stick at the beginning of a session. Let the burn mark the practice time rather than heavily scenting the space: the incense accompanies the action; it should not dominate.
