Copper Inverted Incense Molding Set – Powder Incense Mold

This copper molding set allows you to shape small forms of incense from powdered incense, before burning.

The powder is placed into the cavities, lightly compacted, then carefully unmolded. The mold helps achieve more regular shapes and a better controlled amount of incense.

This tool transforms incense preparation into a full-fledged step: dose, tamp, unmold, let set if necessary, then burn on a suitable holder.

INFORMATION

This set is designed for manual molding of powdered incense. It allows for clearer shapes than free-form deposits, with a more consistent amount from one use to the next.

Copper offers a rigid and precise surface for tamping the powder into the cavities. The result depends on the fineness of the powder, its humidity, the pressure exerted, and the drying time if the material has been moistened.

This mold is not a burner: the resulting shapes must then be used on a suitable incense holder, resistant to heat and combustion residues.

FEATURES

Material: copper
Structure: two-cavity mold
Manufacturing: artisan-made
Compatibility: powdered incense fine enough to be compacted

USE & SAFETY

Fill the cavities with a small amount of powdered incense, then tamp gradually without over-compacting. Very dry powder may be harder to compact; slightly moistened powder may give a clearer shape.

Unmold gently to avoid breaking the shape. If the powder has been moistened, let it dry completely before burning to achieve a more consistent smoke.

Burn only on a heat-resistant, stable, and non-flammable holder. Do not light directly on a table, fabric, curtains, dry plants, or a fragile surface.

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from papers, fabrics, curtains, dry plants, or flammable objects. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Ventilate the room after use.

MAINTENANCE

After use, remove powder residues with a dry cloth or a small soft brush. Avoid strongly scratching the cavities to preserve the copper surface.

Limit water, abrasive products, and harsh cleaners. Copper can naturally evolve over time and develop a patina.

Store the mold in a dry place, away from prolonged humidity and poorly sealed scented powders.

PAIR WITH

For molding, this set can be paired with sandalwood incense powder, to be worked in small quantities depending on the desired density.

To burn the obtained shapes on a suitable holder, you can use the natural shell smoke receptacle or the engraved alloy mini square incense burner.

🤍 Ikane Workshop Tip
Slightly moistened powder compacts more easily, but it must dry before burning. Tamp lightly, unmold slowly, then burn only on a stable and heat-resistant holder.
