USE & SAFETY
Work on a well-secured piece, on a stable surface. Remove small amounts of material at a time rather than applying strong pressure, especially in thin areas or near an edge.
Follow the wood grain direction as much as possible. Cutting against the grain can snag, tear the fiber, or require more effort, which reduces control of the movement.
The tools are sharp: always keep fingers away from the cutting path, work slowly, and put blades away after use. Keep out of reach of children.
Sharpen regularly with a suitable tool to maintain a clean cut. A dull blade requires more force and becomes less precise.
MAINTENANCE
Remove dust and wood residue after use with a dry cloth or a small soft brush.
Keep blades clean and dry. Avoid prolonged moisture, impacts between blades, and bulk storage, which can damage the cutting edge.
Store tools in their box or a suitable holder, protecting the cutting parts before transport.
