Leather Stitching Wheel – Handcrafted Sewing Tool
This stitching wheel allows for regular spacing in leather before sewing, punching, engraving, or assembly.
By rolling the wheel over the material, the teeth create a line of marks that help to place stitches more accurately. Unlike pencil marking, the wheel directly imprints a rhythm into the surface, without drawing a solid line.
The four interchangeable wheels allow you to adjust the spacing between marks according to the desired outcome: fine stitching, more visible stitches, wider lines, or thicker leather.

USE & CARE
Choose the wheel according to the desired spacing, then secure it properly with the tightening wrench. Test on a leather scrap before marking the final piece.
Roll the tool with consistent pressure. Avoid pressing too hard: the mark should remain legible without excessively deforming the material.
After use, remove any leather dust or fibers around the wheel. Store the wheels in a dry place and check the tightness before each new use.
COMPLEMENTARY TOOLS
To prepare straight lines, margins, or parallel marks before tracing, this wheel can be paired with the
aluminum T-square ruler.
To mark a date, number, or series on leather, soft wood, or suitable metal, it can also be complemented by the
3 mm number punches.
To transfer a distance, check a width, or prepare a proportion on several pieces, you can use the
measuring and tracing compass.

Regular marking immediately changes the appearance of a seam. Even before assembly, the rhythm of the stitches begins to structure the object: testing the spacing on a scrap piece helps avoid a too-tight or too-loose seam.
