Hand-painted gaiwan — 150 ml
A bowl, a lid, a saucer.
Three elements for precise and slow infusion.
The gaiwan is the central tool of Gong Fu Cha, a traditional infusion method based on attention to gesture.
It allows you to observe the leaves opening, to control the time, to tilt the lid slightly to filter the infusion.
Hand-painted, each piece features slight variations in patterns and shades.
Its 150ml capacity offers a just right size, suitable for solo or shared tasting.
The ceramic retains heat and complements successive infusions.
