Sandalwood Incense Discs – 96 pieces for preparation and calm space
These sandalwood incense discs accompany moments of preparation, reading, writing, concentration, or creation in a calm indoor space.
The disc format allows for slow and steady burning, with a gradual release of smoke. It is suitable for times when a gentle olfactory presence is desired, without using multiple sticks or holders.
Sandalwood offers a woody, dry, and enveloping note. Each disc should be used in small quantities, on a stable, heat-resistant support suitable for incense burning.
INFORMATION
This incense comes in sandalwood discs, designed for slow and continuous diffusion. The circular shape allows for a calmer burn than a thin stick, with a more extended smoke time.
It can be used before a writing, drawing, tea ceremony, reading, or manual work session, to establish a calmer rhythm and mark the beginning of a practice session.
Diffusion depends on the support used, room ventilation, ambient humidity, and how the disc is lit.
CHARACTERISTICS
Material: Sandalwood
Type: Natural incense, no synthetic fragrance stated
Packaging: 96 discs
Burn: Slow and steady
Support needed: Burner or heat-resistant support, suitable for incense
USE & SAFETY
Place a single disc on a stable, non-flammable, and heat-resistant support. Light one end, let it catch for a few moments, then gently blow out the flame to let the ember burn.
Do not move the support while burning. The disc, ashes, and burner may remain hot even when the smoke appears light.
Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from papers, fabrics, curtains, dry plants, or flammable objects. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Ventilate the room after use, especially in an enclosed space or if multiple discs are used on the same day.
CARE
Wait for complete cooling before removing ashes or cleaning the support.
Empty residues into a non-flammable container. Avoid discarding still-warm ashes into a bin containing paper or fabric.
Store the discs in a dry place, away from humidity and strong odors, to preserve their burn and fragrance.
PAIR WITH
For a more contained burn, these discs can be paired with the
baked clay incense burner with lid
or the

🤍 Ikane workshop tip
Light a single disc and let it burn completely on a suitable support. Start writing, reading, or preparing your space before the smoke disappears: the disc primarily serves to mark the entry into the practice time.
