48-color soft core colored pencils – set for drawing and illustration

INFORMATION
Soft core colored pencils allow for working in successive layers. Unlike a very hard dry pencil, the lead deposits more material, allowing for more saturated solid colors, softer blending, and optical mixing on paper.
They are suitable for sketchbooks, illustrations, color studies, preparatory drawings, decorative details, colored sketches, and work on white, beige, or lightly tinted paper.
The result depends on the paper's grain, pressure, number of layers, and how colors are layered.

USE & CARE
Start with light layers to place large areas of color, then gradually increase pressure to enhance saturation or mark certain areas.
For gradients, layer several passes rather than pressing too hard from the start. This method keeps the paper cleaner and allows more room for corrections or intermediate shades.
Sharpen with a sharpener suitable for colored pencils to preserve the lead. Avoid drops, which can weaken the lead inside the wood.
Store pencils in the metal tin after use to limit shocks, dust, and disorganized mixing of shades.
PAIR WITH
For sketches, color studies, and compositions on beige paper, this set can accompany the
black sketchbook with beige paper.
To reinforce shadows, dark masses, and deep values, you can pair it with the
black carbon pencil set.
To add highlights on tinted paper or work on highlights after colored layers, it can be complemented by
