Bamboo Watercolor Box – refillable 24 or 36 half-pan palette
This bamboo watercolor box allows you to create a personalized palette with refillable half-pans, to organize your colors and transport your pigments.
Two sizes are available: 24 pans for a compact and portable palette, or 36 pans to keep more colors visible while working.
Natural bamboo offers a more pleasant grip than a classic plastic case. The compartments keep the half-pans in place during storage, studio moves, or sessions away from a fixed table.
INFORMATION
This box is used to create a custom palette: basic colors, a reduced range, a travel palette, a personal color chart, or a selection dedicated to a specific technique.
The half-pans can be filled with tube watercolor, compact gouache, or suitable pigment mixtures. Once dry, the pans can be reactivated with water depending on the paint used.
The bamboo format is suitable for artists, students, illustrators, and hobbyists who want to build a durable, clear, and easily evolving palette throughout their practice.
CHOOSING THE FORMAT
24-pan format: more compact, with a sliding lid. It is suitable for reduced palettes, quick sessions, mobile work, and essential color selections.
36-pan format: wider, with a hinged opening. It allows you to keep more colors visible and organize a more extensive palette by families, values, or uses.
If you often paint with a limited range, the 24-pan is sufficient. If you like to prepare several shades, separate warm and cool colors, or keep ready-made mixtures, the 36-pan will be more comfortable.

USE & CARE
Fill the half-pans with the chosen paint, then let it dry completely before closing the box. Incomplete drying can cause sticking to the lid or movement during transport.
Organize colors by families, temperature, or frequency of use. You can also leave some pans empty to create personal mixtures during sessions.
Clean paint marks on the bamboo with a slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately. Avoid stagnant water, soaking, and abrasive products.
Store the box in a dry place. Bamboo may show slight variations in shade and grain, which are characteristic of the natural material.
