Sealing Wax Set – Seal, Spoon, and Wax Beads
This set contains everything you need to create handmade wax seals: a candle, a melting spoon, a seal with a beech wood handle, and wax beads in three colors.
The melted wax is poured onto the surface, then stamped with the seal before it hardens. Unlike a simple label, a wax seal creates a visible and tactile embossed impression on a letter, envelope, card, notebook, or package.
INFORMATION
This set allows you to prepare a complete seal without having to gather each accessory separately. The spoon is used to melt the wax beads, the candle provides the heat source, and then the seal marks the still-hot material.
The seal can be used on correspondence, a notebook page, an envelope, a package, a card, a small paper edition, or an object you wish to sign in a different way.
Its use requires a little precision: heating the wax, choosing the right amount, pouring cleanly, applying the impression, then waiting for the wax to begin to harden before removing the seal.

USE & CARE
Melt a few beads in the spoon, then slowly pour the wax onto the surface. Wait a few seconds before applying the seal so that the wax is not too liquid.
Hold the seal still until the wax begins to harden, then remove it without sliding. Stable pressure gives a clearer impression than a too-strong or too-quick movement.
After use, let the spoon and seal cool before storing them. Remove any wax residue without aggressively scraping the surface of the design.

🤍 Ikane Workshop Tip
First test the amount of wax on a scrap piece of paper. For a clean impression, wait until the wax thickens slightly before applying the seal, then remove the tool without sliding.
