Set of 5 Painting Spatulas – Stainless Steel and Wooden Handle

This set includes five painting spatulas designed to work with material, apply impasto, create reliefs, and spread color directly onto the canvas or palette.

Each shape allows for a different gesture: applying a thick load, smoothing an area, scraping a rework, mixing color, opening a texture, or building more organic passages than with a brush.

The stainless steel blades offer useful flexibility for varying pressure. The wooden handles ensure a stable grip during prolonged sessions, whether for oil paint, acrylic, texture pastes, or mixed media.

Information

Spatulas allow you to work with paint as a material to be moved, rather than just color that is applied. They are useful for creating thick surfaces, edges, scraped effects, or rougher transitions.

The set allows you to alternate between different widths depending on the area being worked on: textured background, relief detail, shape edge, mixing on the palette, or localized reworking.

Suitable for artists, creators, and enthusiasts who wish to explore palette knife painting, material effects, and more textured compositions.

Use & Care

Use small spatulas for details, reworking, and edges. Reserve larger ones for flat areas, impasto, and large textured areas.

After use, remove excess paint before it dries, then clean the blade according to the paint used. Carefully dry the steel and avoid leaving the wooden handles soaking in water.

🤍 Ikane Studio Tip
Alternating sizes during the same session helps avoid a too-uniform surface. A wide blade applies the material, then a thinner blade opens up details, breaks up an overly smooth area, or reworks a relief.
