NAG CHAMPA
Woody, floral, resinous
A fuller fragrance, with woody and floral notes and a slightly resinous character.
INCENSE · AROMATIC WOODS · BURNERS
Japanese incense, Nag Champa, agarwood incense coils, sandalwood, natural agarwood, burners and incense holders.
Short and fine sticks, incense coils and aromatic wood: several formats for fragrance and combustion, with supports and burners adapted to different uses.
Clear part of the table, set out the tools, light the incense. These few actions create a real break with the rest of the day.
The flame goes out, the smoke rises and the scent of the incense spreads. It is a simple sensory signal: the session has started.
As the incense burns, it gives the practice a beginning and an end. You can draw, write or work with material inside that defined period.

CHOOSING YOUR INCENSE
Nag Champa, sandalwood and agarwood have very different scent profiles. Traced incense is prepared by hand before lighting.
NAG CHAMPA
A fuller fragrance, with woody and floral notes and a slightly resinous character.
SANDALWOOD
A drier, softer wood scent, less floral and generally more discreet.
AGARWOOD
A darker and deeper woody scent, with a dry and discreet character.
TRACED INCENSE
Scented powder is placed on a bed of ash using a tracing plate, then lit at one end. The sets include the tools needed for preparation.
