Ceramic Compartment Palette – 5 wells for inks, pigments and washes
This compartment palette features five connected ceramic wells for preparing, separating, and adjusting multiple shades during an ink, calligraphy, watercolor, or detailed painting session.
Each well can accommodate a different value: light wash, more concentrated ink, intermediate mix, diluted pigment, or retouching color.
The glazed ceramic offers a smooth, stable, and easy-to-rinse surface. The compact size allows you to keep your mixtures close at hand without cluttering your workspace.

These wells are useful whenever your work requires multiple dilution levels. They allow you to prepare a progression of values before starting: from lightest to densest, or from a very diluted color to a more concentrated version.
The separation of the wells prevents shades from mixing too quickly. It allows for a clear reading of values during work, especially when the brush moves quickly from one tone to another.
It is suitable for practices where nuance is as important as line: ink wash, calligraphy, watercolor, water painting, fine brush details, and pigment testing.

USE & CARE
Prepare your mixtures before starting, reserving one well for clear water or the lightest dilution, then the others for more concentrated values.
For washes, organize values from lightest to densest. This method prevents overloading the brush and allows you to easily return to an already prepared shade.
Rinse the ceramic with clear water after use, before pigments or ink dry in a thick layer in the wells.
Dry with a soft cloth or let air dry. Avoid impacts: ceramic is a rigid and fragile material.
