What if one image could hide another? This invisible ink allows you to write, draw, or add details that remain discreet in natural light, then reveal themselves under ultraviolet light.
A message hidden in an illustration, a secret inscription, signs that are only discovered by shining light on the paper: UV ink opens up new possibilities for playing with what is visible and what is not.
The 18 ml bottle comes with a mini UV lamp to reveal your lines. The effect depends on the surface, the amount of ink applied, and the lighting.
INFORMATION
This ink reacts to ultraviolet light. Once applied and dry, it leaves a line that is generally barely visible under ordinary lighting. When exposed to the UV lamp, the drawing or text appears through fluorescence.
It allows you to create, in particular, illustrations with a reveal, hidden messages, discreet annotations or additional details in a graphic composition.
The discretion of the line varies depending on the nature of the paper and the amount of ink deposited. Smooth paper or low-absorbency paper is a good starting point for your first attempts.

FIRST USE
Start by making a few strokes or writing a short message on a test sheet. Apply a thin layer, then let it dry completely.
Observe your drawing in natural light. Then shine the UV mini-lamp on the paper, preferably in a low-light environment, to discover the fluorescent line.
Adjust the amount of ink according to the desired result. A light application can be more discreet, while a heavier application may leave visible marks on the paper.
Preferably use a brush or dip pen. Compatibility with the internal mechanisms of fountain pens has not been established.
USE & SAFETY
Clean your instruments quickly after use and close the bottle carefully to prevent the ink from drying out.
Store the bottle away from heat and direct light.
Never look directly at the UV light source and do not point the lamp at the eyes. Keep the ink and the lamp out of reach of young children.

Try layering two drawings: a first one in regular ink, visible at all times, and a second in UV ink, hidden in the composition.
Under ordinary light, only the first image stands out. Pass the UV lamp over the paper to reveal the hidden details. First test the layering on a scrap piece to check the appearance of the two inks.
