Wooden chopsticks – Handcrafted item

Interview

• Do not boil the chopsticks
Boiling water damages the structure of the wood and reduces its lifespan.
Opt for washing in lukewarm water, by hand, then drying immediately.

• First use: slight discoloration possible
During the first prolonged contact with water, a slight sheen of the wood may be released. This is normal for a natural material and disappears after the first few washes.

• Nourish the wood to make it more durable
After a few uses, you can apply a thin layer of vegetable oil.
(neutral oil: rapeseed, grapeseed, etc.)
Leave it to rest for about 12 hours so that the wood can absorb the liquid.
The result: a smoother, more resistant surface, less prone to cracking.

– Do not leave to soak in water for too long
Do not use a dishwasher
– Dry immediately
– Store in a dry place
